After School Care

Care that feels like home

Our After School Care runs every school day from 3:00pm to 5:30pm, offering a safe, friendly, and supportive space for students to wind down, complete homework, and enjoy fun activities with friends.

Based in our school hall, it’s a convenient option for families needing after school care on-site.

The programme is led by Mrs Sophia Ieru-Sioloa and supported by a caring team: Mrs Helen Allen, Mrs Anita Harris, Ms Oliva Saville, Mrs Henny Gozlay, and Mrs Tauga Scholes. 

The programme is well-supervised, with first aid available on site and clear expectations around safety and respect for school facilities. 

Parents are asked to collect their children by 5:30pm and must sign them out with the staff member on duty.

Our Programme

Each day includes:

  • Afternoon Tea & Roll Call – A light snack such as a biscuit or fruit and drink
  • Activity Time – One planned activity (craft, games, or creative play)
  • Homework Supervision – A quiet time to complete homework with support
  • Story Time – A calming end to the day with a group read-aloud or serial story
  • Tidy Up – Students help take care of the shared space

This programme is a great way for students to finish the school day in a relaxed, structured environment that supports both their learning and wellbeing.

Enrolment forms are available from the school office.

The cost is $50 per week, payable at the start of each week either at the office or by direct credit:  ASB 12-3109-0012172-00

Our After School Care Programme is very popular and we often have a waiting list for available places.
