Our Philosophy
At the heart of learning is a child’s sense of self and connection as a capable, confident learner.
Our philosophy is rooted in the principles of Te Whāriki, New Zealand’s Early Childhood Curriculum, celebrating the unique potential of each child.
Our strong relationship with the wider Chapel Downs community further enriches our curriculum, allowing us to work in partnership to support each child’s ongoing learning.
Children engage in meaningful experiences that promote mindfulness, joy, and a sense of peace. Through play in a beautiful, enriching environment, they develop social competence, work together, and build strong relationships.
Cultural diversity is central to our philosophy, and we proudly honour the bicultural partnership of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Relationships are at the heart of our programme, and we warmly embrace the diverse cultures and beliefs of our families.
